Julia
The hotel was reasonably priced and quiet and placed in an ancient-style building. The location couldn't be more marvellous and unbeatable near the downtown area of Bandar Seri Begawan. It was also close enough to the shopping malls, bus stop, restaurant, the most popular and beautifull mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan called "Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien ", and a shopping centre. A huge variety of affordable food, I loved it.

We got a room with bathtubs. There was soft bed, climate control, a laptop-compatible safe, and multi-channel TV. Location: the hotel was so close to city center shopping mall as well as the most popular and beautifull mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan called "Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien.

Convenient Location and Pleasant Pool Experience
During our recent stay at a hotel in Brunei, we had a pleasant experience at a conveniently located property. The pool area was clean and inviting, providing a relaxing atmosphere to unwind and soak up the sun. Although the hotel had some outdated elements, we found the pool to be well-maintained and a great spot to cool off after a day of exploring. we would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and enjoyable pool experience.

The hotel was fine, and friendly staff, but don't choose the trips they offer from AZ-tours. The tours are badly organised and you pay way to much for them. Better check for other companies. The hotel staff tried to solve the problems with the agency for us, but the touragency is not fair to the customers and not to their own guides.

Good and central location. Comfortable (but small) rooms. Coffee/tea cooking facility.
WIFI slow and weak signal in the room. Breakfast with quite limited choice from fixed menu. Broken toilet.

With a convenient location right at the edge of the 'old' town, staying down the street from the Royal Regalia building, and in the park by Tasek Lama Recreational, this hotel is ideal. The extremely helpful staff and spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms ensure a wonderful stay with delicious meals at the restaurant. the pool is well maintained, and the breakfast was great with several options to choose from.
The hotel lacks the expected variety of wifi service and gym facilities.

The Terrace Hotel in Brunei offers great value for money. The prices are affordable and the attention to detail is commendable. The hotel is located right at the edge of the 'old' town, which is not far from the city center. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms, although basic, come with comfortable beds and bathrooms are available. Additionally, the breakfast is included in the stay, adding to the convenience for guests.
Everything was fine, no improvements needed.

Good location, close to the waterfront and only a 5 min walk from the Long Distance Bus Station.
We booked a Non-Smoking Room, but the whole hotel smelt like an ashtray, so no point in changing rooms. Didn't bother me too much as was heardly in the room anyway and with the window fully open, got yhe room smelling of the flowers outside by bed time.

The hotel's classic, colonial environment offers a charming and tasteful experience. Polite staff keeps everything clean and the breakfast is a great start to the day. Rooms are well-appointed with lovely traditional curtains and good bathroom design. The location is fantastic.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Most tourist sights within easy walking distance. The restaurant is of a high standard, particularly the asian food and the steam boat was fantastic. Low prices, fresh and presented very well.
A persistent unpleasant musty smell permeates the entire hotel. The rooms are tired, damaged and in desperate need of maintenance. Linen clean but in poor condition. Air conditioning far too cold and we ended up having to leave it turned off as much as possible. Sad to see such a once lovely hotel in a great location left to go to ruin. Recommend only to the travellers not worried by comfort.

The hotel rooms are a bit outdated, but the location is great - a short walk to the town center. Great pool area. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Rooms need a bit updating, but overall great value for money.

Complementary drinks and snacks were the best! The beautiful pool area was a great touch and the convenient location near restaurants and shopping made exploring easy.
The room was not great. It had a musty smell, and the bathroom was dirty with poor water pressure.
